Following a family tradition of two generations, and at the age of 23 years, Dr. Pierfrancesco Vassoney graduated in Medicine in 1982 in Turin, where he specialized, first in Orthopedics and Traumatology and then in Forensic and Insurance Medicine. After the initial years of professional life in hospital Chivasso, Rivoli and Chieri, from 1990 he worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon in CTO Turin Hospital; from 2002 he works at the Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Turin. He also carries out its Private Practice in Private Health Clinics in Turin (Fornaca and Pinna Pintor).
Dr. Vassoney has been dealing for thirty years mainly in capsular-ligament joint surgery and prosthetic surgery of shoulder, knee and hip, as well as in lumbar spine surgery, and performs surgery and arthroscopy, with a large series of surgical operations certified by CTO Hospital.
He treats as well ‘low intensity of care’ orthopedic patology, namely of hand (carpal tunnel syndrome, snap fingers, etc.) and foot (hallux valgus, ‘hammer’ toes, metatarsal pain, Morton’s disease, etc.), treated by Dr. Vassoney with modern surgical and accepted dictates.
The rehabilitation of the patient after surgery, or his conservative care, is constantly monitored by check visits to fulfill clinical restore.
Dr. Vassoney, Forensic Medical Specialist, works as Expert Consultant of the Ordinary Court of Turin, and as Consultant to the Advocates by providing a careful and qualified evaluation of Permanent Damage in sequelae of traumatic outcomes (traffic accidents or other trauma).
